MCC Specialized Wraparound Program
MCC has developed specialized behavior modification programs for the treatment of children between the ages of 3 to 21 who have been diagnosed with either Autism Spectrum Disorders or Severe Hearing Impairment/Deafness.
Treatment Program… Our program is child and family centered and is delivered in the child’s natural environment including the home, school and community setting. Each treatment plan is formulated in accordance with the six core principles developed by Pennsylvania’s Child and Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP). Our professional staff are trained and experienced in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments and/or Discrete Trial Teaching. Where appropriate, our staff has also undergone Deaf Culture Training and American Sign Language training.
Treatment Focus… The treatment plan is developed with the goal of demonstrating and transferring effective intervention techniques to the child’s caregivers (parents, teachers, and guardians) so that more productive and meaningful interactions with the child may occur.
Treatment Team… The MCC treatment team is committed to achieving specific clinical goals for each child. These goals are established through effective assessment techniques and the development of a treatment plan created in collaboration with the child and family. A treatment team is established for each child with consideration given for the child/family’s needs as well as their geographic location. The treatment team consists of any or all of the following members:
Coverage for Services… In Pennsylvania, the provision of services may be covered and reimbursable either directly through the Department of Public Welfare (Medical Assistance) or through a contract with a behavioral health managed care organization. Prior to the initiation of services, pre-approval/prior authorization must be granted, which occurs on a case-by-case basis, subject to the client meeting established coverage guidelines. In Pennsylvania, children who meet these coverage guidelines are eligible to receive services without regard for family income.
Currently, our program is licensed to provide our specialized wraparound services directly through the department of Public Welfare (Medical Assistance) and through a contracted provider relationship with Community Behavioral Health (CBH).
MCC Coverage Area… MCC is contracted to provide wraparound services to residents of Philadelphia, PA. For more information please contact us at (267) 525-7000.
