David Newhart, RN is a compassionate nurse with an impressive background in both clinical practice and homecare management. David has extensive hospital nursing experience having cared for patients in the Intensive Care Unit, (ICU) Emergency Room, (ER) Psychiatric Unit and Dialysis Unit as well as the general medical-surgical areas.

His home care experience began in 1986. David has held positions of increasing clinical and managerial responsibility including staff nurse, admissions coordinator, clinical coordinator, nursing supervisor, branch manager and personal care service manager.

David has developed competencies as an outstanding clinician with special focus in the areas of quality assurance, staff development and compliance. His reputation is that of an excellent clinician and effective leader.

These experiences have shaped his strong belief that patient care services must be delivered in a competent, caring and consistent manner.

Every home health aide must complete company mandated written and practical skills training. In addition, each staff member is required to participate in twelve hours of inservice training annually. A criminal background check, child abuse clearance and personal/employment reference check must be completed for all candidates prior to hire.

David Newhart believes strongly that effective staff supervision is the backbone of a quality driven program. As such, he provides frequent personal supervision to all home health aides during their scheduled client visits. This affords him the first hand opportunity to observe performance and creates many opportunities for him to teach and reinforce the fundamentals of quality care.
